image070.jpg  Dear R and L:

It’s very nice to hear from you and know that you care.  As I said before that I like to analyze all the problems I encounter in order to find a good solution.  Here is the analysis I have regarding our performance.

1. The Goal:  a sensational and tasteful performance.

2. How to reach it:  Follow the instructions carefully.  Focus on the
 weaknesses and enforce the strengths.

3. Weakness:  My three ‘No’s, my stubbornness, and my closure to
 expressions.

4. Strength:  Shyi-Dong is good at presenting himself and he is more open
and natural.  He is a quick learner.  My strong motivation and
perseverance will help.  Besides, we are each other’s better half.

I know I should not have an unrealistic expectation on our performance, but I am sure that if we aim high we will get high.  The good thing is that I know you have all the knowledge we need and we can do well if we take your words seriously.  In addition, the talk we had on Friday opened my eyes to see things I missed.  It’s like a wake-up call; all of a sudden, I know what I should do to make satisfactory progress.  It’s a shame that I have devoted myself to dancing over ten years, but the wrong instructions I received have etched in my mind which prevent me from improving.  I can’t say that I will transform immediately, slowly but steadily, I think I will be different.  By the way, there is a thin line between sensational and disgusting dance, and I definitely don’t want our audience to feel uncomfortable.

I know that time is not on our side, but I think it will be a shortcut for me if you agree with my analysis and help me to focus on those strengths and weaknesses.
